Made of of HSSM2, ASP 23 or ASP30 material, Gear Chamfering Cutters are highly precision cutters which are used for generating gear chamfering and deburring in mostly automobile gear industry. These cutters have the ability to do deburring on both sides of the gear at the same time.
These cutters remove the burrs generated while cutting the edges of tooth very smoothly and fast. Resharpening is done once the cutters are shaded due to chipping in depth and these cutters are re usable to give exact same profile finishing. We can supply the cutters according to request. Mostly these cutters are used for giving chamfer and finishing. We strongly recommend PVD coatings for better life as the cutters are very high precision in nature

Gear Shaving Cutters are mostly used to give high precision finishing after doing the gear hobbing. To get the best accuracy of finishing in gear – these cutters are used as last operation. Widely used in Automobile gear industry in conventional type, diagonal, plunge cut with a wide range of sizes according to the customer requirement. According to the component desired finishing these cutters are designed to incorporate profiles for tip relief, depth crowning, lead crowning etc.
Generally made in Raw material HSS M2 or ASP23 to give high precision finishing – we recommend them different types of raw material & surface PVD coatings 2-4 microns to have a smooth and better life of cutters.

Gear Planning Cutting Machines such as MAAG & SUNDERLAND use Rack type cutters for cutting Spur, Helical, Bevel Spiral gears from Module 1.00 – 30 Module. These RACK type cutters are made up of HSS Flats / Rectangular shaped M2, M35 or ASP 23 raw material having cutting profile from single tooth to multi tooth as per MAAG & SUNDERLAND standards to cut tooth depending upon client requirements.
RACK cutters are used for roughing as well as finishing tooth cutting profile as per the job requirements.
